Preserve the integrity and character of Livermore Wine Country

We are a group of Livermore valley residents concerned about the expansion plans of Hwy-84 as currently planned. The purpose of this website is to create awareness of what is being planned and how it will impact you as a resident of this beautiful area. The project in question is Hwy-84 expansion between Jack London Blvd and Ruby Hill Dr. This is being done to encourage and accommodate regional cut through traffic including semi-truck traffic from Central Valley on to Isabel and through to 680, and will be ultimately be a 6-lane freeway corridor linking 580 to 680.

We believe this project, does not benefit residents of Livermore Valley as it does not take in consideration the impact on noise, air quality, traffic congestion, safety and aesthetics of the area. If this project is allowed to move forward as it stands today will have devastating effects on the over quality of life in the Livermore Valley. We appeal that you get involved.
